Brad Pienta

Principal

Brad is the head of carbon dioxide strategy for one of the largest industrial gas companies in the US. Previously, Brad worked for privately-held upstream and midstream natural gas company, where he held several key leadership roles in the operations and digital departments. Most notably, he led the organizational restructuring of the company’s 200 person operations department, which positioned the team to quickly integrate a neighboring $500M asset just 6 months later.

Brad is a former US Coast Guard officer, where his last assignment was as Commanding Officer of the icebreaking ship BISCAYNE BAY in Northern Michigan. Having had roles across multiple industries and functions, the common thread through it all has been leadership. His most prized professional accomplishment is undoubtedly the many team members he has led over the years that have gone onto accomplish great things and take on positions of greater responsibility.

Brad holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the US Coast Guard Academy. Brad lives in Bucks County, PA with his wife and 4 children.

Marc Triebwasser

Principal

Marc leads the strategic competitor sales and sourcing group at an industrial gas company. He is responsible for $100M+ in sales and $50M+ in procurement. Previously, Marc was a top performing salesperson in the Southeast, achieving the most new-business sales in a single year. His expertise lies in value selling to diverse manufacturing entities, spanning industries such as food, beverage, metal, and chemicals, contributing significantly to operational enhancements for both small and large companies. 

Preceding his career as a strategy and sales professional, Marc was a mechanical engineering at a small medical device manufacturing company. He was responsible for R&D and developed a new process to cut down the design time from 3 hours to under 30 minutes.

Marc has a passion for problem solving. He enjoys working on challenges that live at the intersection between technical, interpersonal, and financial.

Marc has a mechanical engineering degree from Rutgers School of Engineering and an MBA from Emory's Goizueta School of Business. A New Jersey native, Marc grew up working at his family's mobile home community, where he learned firsthand the skills needed to run a small business. He currently resides in Middlesex, NJ, with his wife and three kids.

Brian Murphy, CPA, CFE

CFO

Brian leads the North American Region for the Group Internal Audit Fraud and Task Force team at a tier one global automotive supplier. With approximately a decade of experience, Brian has developed a robust skill set in conducting financial investigations and analyzing accounting records. His passion for identifying and mitigating financial risk has been instrumental in ensuring successful and transparent transitions following the acquisition of a $7 billion organization.

 

Brian is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in forensic accounting, financial statement analysis, and post-acquisition audits. As a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Brian leverages his comprehensive knowledge and experience to provide strategic guidance. His dedication to maintain the highest standards of integrity and accuracy makes him a trusted advisor and an invaluable asset to the team.

 

Brian holds a Master’s degree in accounting from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ferris State University. Brian is a member of several professional organizations, including the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Brian lives with his wife and golden retriever puppy in Clawson MI.
